Christmas on Main Street brought to you by the Optimist Club of Azle, the Azle Women’s Business Association, the Azle Lions Club, the Azle News, the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce, the Community Christmas Committee, and numerous volunteers.

Main Street Festivities

Between Stewart St. and Industrial Ave. on Main Street
11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Vendor booths and Main Street businesses open for holiday shopping.
Activities for kids, including pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, pictures with Santa, and much more.

Indoor Festivities

2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Christmas Car Show

At 404 Main Place Front Parking Lot, 404 W. Main St.
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Brought to you by the Azle Lions Club

The 4th Annual Christmas Car Show will be held in the front parking lot of 404 Main Place.  Registration time 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., award presentation 2:00 p.m.
Cost is $20.00 entry fee or an unwrapped toy

Christmas Tree Lighting

Azle Historical Museum, 124 W. Main Street
6:00 p.m. 

Brought to you by the Azle Optimist Club

Join the Mayor of Azle and other community leaders for the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree at the Azle Historical Museum. 
Supplied by the Azle Optimist Club, the Community Christmas Tree is a beautiful addition to the Azle Historical Museum during the holiday season.  Azle families are asked to bring a large ornament to hang on the tree and canned food for the Optimist Community Food Drive. 

Lighted Christmas Parade

Main Street between Church Street and Industrial Ave, 6:00 p.m.

Brought to you by the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce

The Lighted Christmas Parade will begin immediately after the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree.  Parade lineup will begin at 4:30 p.m. behind the Azle ISD Administration building (old Rock School).  Judging will take place between 5:15 - 5:45 p.m. and winners will be announced as they pass the Azle Historical Museum at 124 W. Main.   Parade Categories- Best Overall Entry, Most Christmas Spirit, Best Theme: “A Texas Christmas”, Most Creative, Best Lighted Entry

Main Street Business Decorating Contest

Brought to you by the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce Main Street businesses are asked to decorate their storefront, windows and yard areas to reflect the theme “A Texas Christmas”.   The deadline for decorating completion will be Monday, December 2, 2019. Judging will take place after December 2, 2019.  Categories- Best Overall, Most Christmas Spirit, Best Theme: “A Texas Christmas”, Most Creative, Best Lighted Display
