4th Annual AACC Sporting Clay Shoot 
Our Clay Shoot was not rained out and it was great! It was hot with lots of sweating but NO rain!
The First Place went to Energy Service Company of Bowie with Harold Conner, Todd Brown, Rusty Werline, Steve Reed, and Kelly Garrett.
Second Place went to Texas Harris Health Hospital Azle with Buster Doherty, Joe McIlveene, Jeff Wagner, Rob Conoway,and Ronnie Conoway.
High Overall Shooter went to Kim Baker and High Female Shooter went to Cindy Baker.
Congratulations to everyone and a BIG thanks to Jay Ewing. We also want to thank all our volunteers and sponsors that came out to support this Clay Shoot. It was a success due to your assistance and hard work!  

RSVP Now For July 6th Automotive Networking Luncheon
R & K Cafe' will be catering at this luncheon. Charter Business will be our sponsor. If you are in the Automotive Industry fill out a form for a free table at this luncheon. Bring your business cards, brochures, pamplets, giveaways and any other information you would like to bring related to the Automotive Industry. This includes but is not limited to auto sales, repair, paint, detailing, loans, insurance etc.

Ribbon Cutting for Liberty Lighthouse
The Azle Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors welcomed Liberty Lighthouse with a ribbon cutting on June 1st at the Chamber Luncheon. Liberty Lighthouse is a women's and children's shelter. Ticket 50th Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet
It’s that time again…time for the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce to hold its 50th Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet (we are extending this deadline until Tues. June 8th due to the holiday weekend) when we honor our Chamber stars. The banquet will be held on Thursday, August 5th at 6:30 pm at A&M Gardens. The Nomination Ballot is time sensitive. We must receive all nominations in the Chamber office no later than July 8th, 2010 by 4:00 P.M. Thank you in advance for your nominations. These awards are just a small way we can acknowledge those who contribute so much to our community and to show how much we appreciate them. Banquet tickets must be ordered prior to 4:00 pm by July 30th, 2010. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the Banquet

Cross Timbers 2010 Junior Golf Program
Junior Golf Camp is open to children 6 to 16. In June there will be two 4-day camps, Mon.- Thurs., from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Instructions will cover etiquette of the game, rules and full swing fundamentals. Space is limited. For more information call 817.444.4940.

Hardin Hitting Center
The Hardin Hitting Center is being coordinated by the Hornet Softball and Baseball Booster Clubs. The project is being built with private funds and the goal is to have the funds or assets in place to complete the hitting center by this spring. The hitting center will be used by the softball and baseball teams for batting practice, pitching/catching practice, as well as a covered practice site during inclement weather.
If you want to be a part of this project we are accepting pledges and/or donations at this time. You can find out more about this by contacting any of the individuals listed below or donate by making your checks to AISD – Hardin Hitting Center and mailing to: Azle High School Booster Club-Hardin Hitting Center
